Born in February 2006, Stella survived a hit and run accident when living as a stray on the street that left her back leg so badly mangled that it had to be amputated. She was just 4 months old, a small pup when this tragedy struck.

The second tragedy in her life is that she's been waiting... and waiting ever since then for a home of her own, almost 4 years now. That's an awful lot of waiting for a dog.
