History
Stella was just 4 months old when she was the tragic victim of a hit & run traffic accident in the Woodlands area of Singapore. A member of the public witnessed the accident in Marsiling Industrial Estate and called ASD for help. Sadly, her badly mangled back leg had to be amputated but she recovered quickly. She lived in an ASD foster home until ASD opened its Rescue Centre in June 2007. She's been waiting nearly 4 years for a home of her own - that's an awful lot of dog years to be waiting!
Features
A striking looking dog! Her distinguishing feature is that she has only 3 legs; her hind right is missing! She has a thick fluffy coat, mainly white with a light and dark brown face and a prominent and beautiful white blaze down her nose, culminating in large brown 'freckles' near her nose. Her ears are erect and feathery (so appealing!), and her fluffy long tail curves attractively over her back. A well proportioned, athletic looking dog.
Character

Stella's hind right leg has been amputated. She is not challenged at all by this but will benefit from additional exercise once she finds her home to build up muscular strength in her front quarters to compensate for her missing leg.
